Bai Jia is a Chinese food producer situated in the Sichuan province of Southwest China. The region is world famous for its unique take on Chinese cuisine. Bai Jia’s Boiled Fish in Hot Chilli Oil is a seasoning pack designed to help you make the traditional Sichuan dish quickly and easily from the comfort of your home kitchen. Shui Zhu Yu, or Sichuan boiled fish, is a vibrant, spicy, and fishy dish that is popular in the region. The packet contains a seasoning sachet with soy, chilli, ginger, garlic, shallot, and mixed spices, a powder sachet to prepare the fish, and a dry food sachet to add to this dish containing chilli and green Sichuan peppercorn. Boil approximately 700ml of water with the seasoning sachet. Add fish that has been marinated in the powder and cook for around three to five minutes. Fry off the dried ingredients in oil and add to the fish. Serve up.
